So, today has been a day… started with a really rough wake up. We managed to get our dog walk in, and I got some coffee, but honestly, I was just dragging all morning.
Let’s see… I think I actually spent the morning setting this whole wiki thing up. It was supposed to be just a simple wiki, but apparently that’s not a thing. I ended up starting with GitHub as a central source and pulling to this laptop, then installing Obsidian to edit here, and then installing Quartz in the local repo to push to GitHub to push to Cloudflare so Cloudflare can render it as a visible wiki online.
I’m not convinced that it needs to be visible online because I can just look at this with Obsidian on my phone. Oh, that was another piece. I’m pulling the repo onto my phone with GitSync and then reading and writing with the Obsidian app. It’s a whole multi-pronged thing. Anyway, what with that, don’t know that I really need to have this visible online, especially since i don’t think i’m going to be giving access to anyone so… why would I want the online setup?
Either way, it ended up taking way more time than I thought I would.
I was also supposed to take Constance in for grooming, but the groomer hurt her hand and can’t work with big dogs until she heals, but the system hadn’t correctly flagged her, so she had to reschedule everyone by hand. Regardless, that got pushed out to, uh… next Sunday, actually, just after church
So it looks like the schedule is going to be, go over to Christy’s Friday… no, wait. Go straight to the parents’, drop Constance and Gertrude off, then go to Christy’s for the sibling get-together. Have breakfast the next morning… go to church… but. Oh. Hmm. Maybe not? ‘cause we’ll have the dogs… I don’t know how that’s going to go. But either way, I need to drop Constance off at… uh… in Kent, at 1 pm for grooming. And then the next day, she’s getting fixed. That’ll be fun.
